Integrated Marketing Communications Manufacturing Companies

Question: Discuss about the Integrated Marketing Communications for Manufacturing Companies. Answer: Situational Analysis: In order to evaluate the integrated marketing communication strategy implemented by Red Bull it is necessary to investigate the situational analysis of the company. In order to do so at first the internal analysis of the company will be conducted and in the next step the external analysis will be done. Internal analysis: Red Bull is considered among one of the largest and most famous energy drink manufacturing companies. The blue and silver can have become an iconic symbol of the vitality while helping the people during the working and playing hours (Hall et al., 2016). The catchphrase of the company is Red Bull gives you wings signifies the statement that depicts the message an energy drinks manufacturing company wishes to portray. The Red Bull brand first came into existence during the year 1984, while the first product of the company was launched in the year 1987 pioneering itself in the market for energy drinks. The drink is produced by using a number of ingredients such as caffeine, carbohydrates and essential vitamins (Baetzgen Tropp, 2013). These constituents are claimed be helpful in generating physical endurance, improvements in the reaction along with concentration and speed in the performance. The slogan of advertisement of the company Red Bull gives you wings has been effective in generating awareness and popularity about the drink in the market. It has been observed that the drink is very popular among men; the consumer group of the company consists of students, athletes, night club hoppers and those who are in need of lift till late at night (Ijabadeniyi et al., 2015). Over the passage of time the company has established itself across the world and, made available the drink across 162 countries as per the data available till 2010. The most crucial Microeconomic factor that the company is faced with is the major number of competitors in its genre. The competitor base of the company ranges from 300 newly established corporations to a massive company like Coca Cola Company and Pepsi Co, Rockstar International and Hansen Natural. However, these so called massive corporations do not hold massive shares in the market for energy drinks. However, Red Bull will have to keep the pace with its competitors in order to maintain the lead (Ryan, 2014). Competitors of the company provide alternative taste to select as compared with the line of products of the Red Bull. In addition to all these established companies like Coca Cola and Pepsi Co possess extensive and efficient networks of distribution and also possess well-established brand names. External Analysis: In order to analyze the external macroeconomic factors of the company PEST analysis tool will be used. PEST analysis is an analytical tool that analyses the Political, Economic, Social and Technological factors that affect the company externally. Politically, as the demand for energy drinks is increasing along with the awareness about the side effects of drinking these drinks. The governments of the respective countries may device plans for these highly caffeinated drinks to be tested clinically. In such a situation when the government imposes safety regulations over the drink, the sales of Red Bull may fall. As the number of cans sold is affected. Some of the countries have even banned the Red Bull because the administration of those countries think that the drink possesses thereat to health and safety (Jankovic, 2012). However, some of the countries have accepted the use of Red Bull an a popular energy drink. In the context of economic factors it is quite likely that the consumers will cut down the consumption of Red Bull whenever there is price inflation. This is because due to the inflation the disposable income of the consumers will go down significantly. In case of social factors the younger generations are faced with different possibilities of different sports and routes to entertainment. In this aspect Red Bull has always projected the product as an ideal drink for the youth and this is the perfect promotional mix adopted by the company. This may lead to an increase in the sales of the product (Jankovic, 2012). With the significant advancements in the social media and technological factors Red Bull will have to design its communication strategies as well as the promotional tools to become more relevant (Jackson et al., 2014). This will in turn help the company in the advertising activities and the promotion of the products and thereby providing a new avenue to communicate with the consumers. SWOT Analysis: SWOT analysis is also an analytical tool that examines the internal strengths and weaknesses of the company along with the external opportunities and threats. Strengths: If measured in terms of the brand equity Red Bull is the worlds leader in the market of energy drinks. The energy drinks are exclusively produced in Australia and are exported to more than 100 countries around the world. The company also enjoys an extraordinary sales and thereby dominates the market of energy drinks by holding 70% share of the entire worlds market for energy drinks (VerÄ iÄ  VerÄ iÄ , 2015). The marketing efforts put by the company are also very impressive. The marketing campaigns of the aims at the young professionals between the age group 18-25. Weaknesses: The basic weakness of the company is that it does not hold a patent for the recipe it uses for producing the energy drink. Therefore, its competitor may easily copy its recipe and enter the market (Rogers, 2014). The product line of the company is very limited, it only produces energy drinks and with a variety of sugar free. If there is a fluctuation the market it will be hard for the company to persist in the market of soft drinks. Opportunities: If Red Bull extends the product line it will definitely help the company to flourish in near future. As the competitors who are new to the market will have to incur a huge cost for marketing and promotional activities and Red Bull is already a well-known brand in the market (Grohs Reisinger, 2014). The company should also license its patent. This will help to reduce the competition faced by the company in the market. Threats: However, the media has reported that Red Bull contains the ingredients that are harmful for the health. This will lead to a significant decline in the sales of the company (Beck, 2014) . Competition is also one of the major threats faced by the company. The major competitors of the company are large established corporations as Coca Cola and Pepsi Co. From the above analysis the market problems and market opportunities faced by the company can be identified. In the next section these are stated. Market problems and Opportunities: Red Bull is considered as the King of the energy drinks market. Currently the company possesses more than 43% market share globally. As the market for soft drinks is growing extensively it is expected that the company flourish in near future. However, as the society is becoming more and more affluent the behavior of the buyers are also changing (Halkias Komodromos, 2016). Here in this report it is identified how Red Bull could address and mitigate the needs of the existing as well as the potential customers. As there are new entrants in the market with their new marketing strategies and gimmicks, it results in a creation of too much clutter and therefore makes it harder for the company to maintain its image in the minds of the consumers (Huang, 2016). Therefore, the company should efficiently design new marketing and communications strategies to compete in the market. The image that the company imposes on the mind of its audiences as a reliable and dependable brand of energy drink, it could not compel the buyer to buy its products. Therefore, the company should again increase the communication with its existing as well as potential buyers to influence their purchase decision. The objectives of Marketing Communication Campaigns: Red Bull Flux is a new product introduced by the company as the company has planned to extend its product line. The broad marketing objective before the company was to identify the new product as an exciting flavor of the Red Bull line of products. While increasing the brand awareness the company is aimed at influencing the purchase decision of the buyers along with compelling them to shift to the Red Bull products (Pagani et al., 2015). The marketing objectives of the company were to increase the can sales of the new product by 1500000 by the end of the financial year. Moreover, to achieve 10% share in the Singapores market for energy drinks. The communications objectives of Red Bull was to held Red Bull Flux as the original alternative of Red Bull as a sugar free drink. in doing so the company also tried to divert the attention of the buyers from the products produced by its competitors. The sale of existing energy drinks produced by Red Bull will be increased by 70% by using effective Integrated Market Communication plans. It will be achieved by using the hierarchical effects of communication, knowledge, preference and choice of the consumers and the conviction to purchase the product. These are also well-aligned with the Integrated Marketing Communication plans from the very beginning (Baetzgen Tropp, 2015). The Integrated marketing Communication model used by the Red Bull is well efficient and it addresses the targeted and focused customer groups of the company in an efficient manner. It is conducted by using the media that is by integrating television; radio broadcast along with printed advertisements. The printed advertisements will include advertising in the magazines and newspapers (Baetzgen Tropp, 2015). By integrating these media along with the posters and bill boards the company will be able to attract the targeted customer base quite efficiently. Hence the integrated marketing communication model of Red Bull is quite efficient and effective in attracting and mitigating the needs of the customers. Conclusion: In order to conclude it can be said that the report has effectively addressed all the issues regarding the integrated marketing and communication plans of Red Bull. It has effectively evaluated the need of implementation of integrated marketing communication plans and the effectiveness of the implemented plans as well. While conducting the study a wide range of literature relevant to this topic has been reviewed and this has helped to gain a broader knowledge about the marketing communications of Red Bull. In the light of the knowledge gained while conducting the study the integrated marketing communication strategies applied by the company is evaluated. It has been observed that though the communication strategy applied by the company is efficient it is also necessary for the company to look after extending its product and changing its communications strategies accordingly. Nissan SR20DE Engine Essays - Throttle, Inlet Manifold,

Nissan SR20DE Engine For those of you who want to upgrade your throttle body on your GA16DE powered cars, there are a couple of options out there that you can do. You can have the one on your bored out by a reputable machine shop (i.e. JG engine dynamics) or, if you can get your hands on one, bolt on the throttle body from an SR20DE. What's the difference in the two you ask? Well I'll tell you the advantages and disadvantages in installing the two. The GA16DE's throttle body's anatomy compared to the SR20DE throttle body is almost identical. The bolt patterns, coolant hook-ups, and vacuum lines all match up the same. But the only differences lie with the bore size, and the TPS configuration. With the 1.6 throttle body bored out to its maximum specifications, overall bore size will still not be as large as the stock bore size of the 2.0 throttle body. Which also leaves us to consider how much more potential there can be had with the 2.0 throttle body! If you can get your greasy hands on one of these throttle bodies, I'll let you guys know of some of the obstacles that will be encountered on making this modification work. Necessary parts: There was not much needed here. You will need to purchase brand new throttle body gasket from the dealership. It only cost me about $4.50 with the Se-r discount at Puente Hills Nissan. Without the discount its about six bucks. You will also need to make sure that it is for an Se-r! Otherwise the bore size of the 1.6 gasket will not match the bore size of the throttle body. You will also need to get an aftermarket intake setup, if you don't already have one. The factory rubber intake tubing will not fit over the throttle body. If you have only the filter with the MAF adapter plate, you'll need to go out and get the mandrel bent intake pipe with the proper sized couplers for the Se-r. You can also go out to Home Depot and make your own. If you do that you'll need some 2" abs pvc, 4 hose clamps and 2 2" rubber couplers. The Home Depot couplers will be a very tight fit on the TB, but it will fit. You'll just need to stretch it over the mouth of the TB. I also went out and bought a couple of brass fittings to tap into the side of the PVC for the necessary vacuum hoses. These can be purchased at a Pep Boys autoparts store for less than five bucks. Installation: Everything matched up perfectly, with a few exceptions. There are two connections on the bottom of the TB for the coolant hoses. You will have to slightly bend these so that they pint straight down, otherwise they will be hitting against the manifold. I heated them up on my gas kitchen stove, but if you have access to a butane torch then good for you! Heat up the connections a little bit (NOT RED HOT!) , and use a shop hammer to gently tap the tubing straight. You should be tapping the base of the body as you are not trying to actually bend the tube, you just want it to rotate in its base. The most challenging part of the throttle body mod will be with making the 1.6 TPS work on this unit. As I am still trying to figure out how to do this, I'll tell you what I have encountered so far. On the 2.0, the TPS lever sits towards the front of the throttle body, rotating clockwise from the seven o'clock position to eleven o'clock. On the 1.6 the TPS lever rotates clockwise from the one o'clock position to about five o'clock. The same goes with the lever on the TB that moves the TPS switch. One thing I tried to do was flip the 1.6 TPS around and bolt it backwards, with the plug end facing the intake manifold. The levers made contact with each other to make the system operable, but I was questioning its inability to then be unable to be adjusted. This set up caused the TPS lever to be out of spec with its position slightly opened up, even though the throttle was completely closed. Installation on the car was slightly difficult as the TPS also got in the way of a few vacuum hoses and rested against the intake manifold. Not good if

dolphins essays

dolphins essays Dolphins and porpoises are mammals. They breathe air and give birth to living young then they suckle. They belong to the order or group of mammals called cetaceans, which include whales. Dolphins have beaklike mouths. Porpoises have bunt mouths and are smaller than dolphins. But both dolphins and porpoises are toothed whales, and their close relatives include the killer, sperm and pilot whale. Cetaceans are mammals that returned to the sea. Hind legs disappeared and were replaced by a strongly muscled tail end and flat tail or fluke. The front legs have evolved into flippers. One primitive specie- the Bouto or the river dolphin of the Amazon and other southern American rivers- has finger bones that show clearly in their flippers. Most mammalian hair has also disappeared from the streamlined body of the cetacean. The nostrils for breathing air have gradually moved to the forehead and, in the dolphins and porpoises have become one blow whole, which leads right to the lungs instead of the mouth and throat. The river living dolphins such as the Bouto must come up for air every 30 seconds, but the ocean dolphins can stay in the water for a few minutes. When they surface, a great spout of moist, used air is comes out from the blow wholes. More air is taken in, and they dive again. A dolphin or porpoise baby is born in the water. The mother and another female dolphins, which acts as a nurse, then rush into the surface for the babys first breath of air. They introduce the baby to the deeper water and longer stays under the water the first few weeks. At first they return to the surface for the baby to suckle its mothers milk. Usually only one baby is born at a time. It spends a full year feeding on milk and strays from its mother ...

Conversation Among Four Friends - Essay Example Sally: You can’t tell when it's morning or evening, the streets are often busy. Mike: Lucky you, you have time to notice that. Some people elsewhere are so occupied they don’t even notice. Francis: I have to admit. Had we not been in this rented cab, we would not have noticed either. Tania: You don’t want to insinuate that the cab makes us any better placed. Francis: I didn’t mean that. What I meant was... Tania: I know! I know! What you meant was, you always speak your mind. Mike: Easy Tania. That was too harsh. You need not be angry. I thought we were over this. Weren’t we Sally? Sally: Sure, we were. It makes me sad to see Tania and Francis fight again. (The cab rounds the first bend and they are all swayed to the left side of the cab. Francis is in a melancholic mood. He is nervous. The others seem to have realized this and so they alert him.) Mike: Look out Francis! Be easy on the gas lever. (Francis apologizes immediately) Francis: Sorry Pals won’t happen again. Sally: You are angry Francis. Francis: I have reason to be. You are all aware that Tania lately accused me of Stalking Janet, a thought she wasn’t able to prove whatsoever. She insisted and so we had to engage Janet, a move I totally opposed. I was embarrassed at Janet’s site. Tania was not sorry. Now she interrupts me, she doesn’t give me time to speak. She lashes back at me as soon as I utter one word. Tania: Tell us then what you meant, Mr. Right. You know everything! (She suddenly turns pale)

Kohlbergs Moral Stage Theory Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

Kohlbergs Moral Stage Theory - Essay Example An examination of â€Å"developing structures† through which an individual makes moral judgments will enable us to understand moral development (p.54). I agree with Kohlberg’s Moral Stage Theory, and judging by its tenets of moral development I will place myself at Stage 5. At this stage, the sense of morality in me has bloomed to its full development, where I have attained the constructs of â€Å"social contract† and â€Å"legalistic orientation† and I perceive right action in terms of the alignment of citizens’ right with the behavioural standards as prescribed by the society (p.55). Through my education as well as insights from personal experience, at this stage, I, have been able to obtain necessary awareness of the â€Å"relativism of personal values and opinions† and the need to adhere to relevant rules before a specific action (p.55). Thus, when I take an action, I do not merely consider the legal aspects when deciding its propriety bu t also the rights of others as well as the impacts of my action on them, though it may not legally violate their rights. As a person involved in the study of criminal justice, I also have understood that I must be â€Å"especially sensitive† towards ethics in my personal and academic life as well as professional life in future (Pollock, 2011, p.4). In this context, law enforcement officers are endowed with a lot of power and if they use it indiscriminately, it can lead to misuse of official authority that entails in violation of human rights. However, I understand that even if police officers have immunity in most cases in respect of action against them, they should not indulge in any activity that may violate the rights of citizens. On the other hand, I also know those hat police officers an explicit responsibility to â€Å"uphold and enforce† laws, in the process of which, sometimes they may not be able to fully comply with principles of protecting the rights of othe rs.

The Black Cat and The Tell-tale heart by Edgar Allan Poe Essay Example for Free

The Black Cat and The Tell-tale heart by Edgar Allan Poe Essay Compare the two nineteenth century horror stories The Black Cat and The Tell-tale heart by Edgar Allan Poe, showing how Poe uses a range of techniques to make his stories dramatic and effective. Edgar Allan Poe was an American author who wrote The Black Cat and The Tell-tale Heart. The Black Cat written in 1845 depicts a supposedly animal loving man who becomes addicted to alcohol which eventually gets out of control and he ends up killing his cat and wife. The Tell-tale Heart was written in 1950 after Poes wifes death in 1847, portrays a madman who becomes paranoid about an old mans vulture like eye and similarly to The Black Cat he kills the old man. In both stories Poe uses a variety of techniques to convey his dramatic version of the gothic horror genre. He uses repetition through the rule of three, punctuation and simple sentences, settings and pathetic fallacy, the main homodiegetic narrator and innocent side characters as well as some significant supernatural events. These all help achieve the effective, dramatic gothic horror story. Another technique used by Poe is repetition including the use of the rule of 3. In the tell tale heart the pace of the story quickens when Poe used the repetition in the rule of three. Louder! Louder! Louder! this is said repeatedly at the end to insinuate the narrators panic and quickening velocity. This technique also works with the slow build of tension at the beginning of the story and the haste filled confession at the end. In an early paragraph the narrator describes himself to possess sagacity and throughout the story he praises his actions and reassures himself and the reader, how calmly I can tell you the whole story but towards the end he begins to lose control over his calmness and starts shouting (showing signs of madness). In the black cat Poe uses repetition in anaphora sentences I experienced a sentiment half of horror, half of remorse this gives a different thrilling and effective use of the narrators need to reiterate his emotions in an order, I think this can be linked to my previous mention of his possible OCD. Another technique Poe uses to make his stories dramatic and effective is the setting and pathetic fallacy. In the Black Cat Poe sets the beginning of the story as bright and sunny to portray a much happier, normal life and during the darkening times, the weather changes to dark, dangerous ad sombre. One night, returning home, much intoxicated, this supports the idea that Poe has used weather set the tone of the scene. During the deaths in the Black Cat the setting appears quite gloomy and dark like when the wife is killed in the cellar. In the Tell tale heart the narrator says that Every day at midnight which helps develop the idea that the time of day i.e. very dark, cooler which could affect the response from the reader. Poe also takes the setting (inside the old mans bedroom) as a tool to create that odd difference with the mad narrator and his fairly normal life. The way in which Poe takes the bedroom which is where people would often feel safe and uses it as the base for the murder should evoke an emotional response of unease from the reader. He has managed to turn a safe place into a sinister and dangerous place. This makes his stories dramatic and effective by exploring different aspects of normal every days lives and making them creepy and weird. This fits in with the Gothic genre by invoking terror and featuring terrifying experiences in a place where the reader should feel safe. Overall Poe uses a variety of techniques to create an effective and dramatic story which can make the reader feel un-easy. His use of the narrator, other characters, punctuation, repetition and the setting fulfil all the elements to create a dramatic and effective gothic horror story.

Does Abortion Have Severe Psychological Effects? Essays -- essays rese

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by destruction of a fertilized egg, embryo or fetus before birth, prior to the time when the fetus attains viability, or capacity for life outside the uterus (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43). Currently almost twenty-five percent of pregnancies in the United States are aborted. About one forth of people who abort are teenagers, fifty-seven percent are younger than 25, and almost eighty percent are unmarried. During the first trimester is when most of the abortions take place. Only about ten percent are performed later in the pregnancy (Slife, 1998, p.329). Abortions go back as far as Ancient Greece where it was used as a type of population control. Then in the Roman Times men had total control over the procedure. â€Å"Man could give law-enforced command that his wife have an abortion, or he could punish or divorce his wife for having one without his consent† (Encyclopedia, 1995, p.43).   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Today many people ask the question, does abortion have severe psychological effects? People that are pro-life claim that most women who abort their unborn child suffer from many negative effects, such as guilty feelings, anxiety, depression, loss, anger and even suicide. In one case a woman had an abortion assuming that it would take away all of the stress of being pregnant and thinking about the consequences of having a child. Afterwards she said, â€Å"I was unprepared for the maze of emotions that hit me after I had the procedure. Instead of feeling relieved, I was awash in anxiety and confusion† (Lawlor, 2002, par.3). The disorder of having negative effects after an abortion is called Post Abortion Syndrome or PAS. In order to tell if a woman has PAS she has to be completely honest with herself and admit the feelings that she has. The symptoms that most women have are strong feelings of guilt and confusion. Some cases are much more extreme, for example, there was a seventeen year old who developed lethargy, malaise, and vomiting. Doctors where unable to reach a conclusion about her condition until the anniversary of her abortion when she experienced overt psychosis. Mental examinations also revealed signs of hallucinations, as well as psychotic thought processes. Research has shown that in most cases women will go on and say they are fine about the whole thing, and many years later be ... ...then you will not even think twice about having one. I don’t agree with abortions at a certain extent. If I got pregnant I am not sure what I would do because I wouldn’t want to grow up that fast, and I would want to finish college and get a good job that way I know for sure I could support my child like I would want to, but if I did have a good job and me and my boyfriend had a steady relationship, then abortion wouldn’t even cross my mind. 4. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Speckhand and Rue’s proposal that post abortion syndrome occurs in some women following abortion? I think they did a very good job of describing what post abortion is and what affects it has on women, but I think they could have done a better job of what causes women to have post abortion like Adler did in his argument.
